This weekend gave us two different kinds of classic autumn weather.
The first couple of pictures were taken in the garden yesterday in glorious sunshine, the colours popping.
Today we had a real pea-souper, low visibility, but more light than you might think. The first pictures that I attempted were crazily over-exposed. The sun was not too far away, but it never managed to break through.
We went to visit a family grave, to plant flowers and light a candle; a typical family excursion here in the run-up to All Saints’ Day.
The fog was very moist and coated all of the cobwebs in dewdrops. It was a decidedly spooky walk, and certainly got the kids in a Hallowe’en frame of mind.
