The weather has been quite changeable the past few days. Whenever I actually had time to pick up my camera, the clouds descended and all light disappeared.
In between rainstorms I did manage to snap these roses. With delicate little raindrops how could they fail to be one of my favourite things? The rain seems to intensify the scent of the pink roses. There is an overwhelming amount of perfume in the garden right now; my gardenia plants have forgiven me for placing them back in the garden a little too early, have made their peace, and are contentedly flowering.
I will try to find some bright copper kettles for the next post, the warm woolen mittens have been packed away for the summer and I cannot face digging them out again.
